Understanding Body Language On A First Date

Tags: , , , ,

People communicate through nonverbal cues more often than through verbal cues. It’s just that we don’t know that we are doing so.

This is the reason why experts agree that one of the keys to maintaining good communication with other people is to learn how to understand the nonverbal cues that they emit. For instance, when dating, there are body language cues that say whether a person is interested or not.

Here are some dating body language that you should learn to read the next time you went out on a date.

Going to your direction

Just as a person who is interested will directly go to a person, their dating body language will also point in the direction of the person they are interested in. People will lean towards you or point in your direction, whether it be with the foot, the leg or the whole body. People who are really into you will also exhibit a body language that is relaxed exhibiting trust and at the same time with tension.

Looking at the face

When dating for the first time, people whose interests were aroused will exhibit a common set of body language. Their eyebrows will rise, their eyes will dilate and their lips will part after smiling. One of the classic dating body language is the hair toss, where she will touch her hair and then look at you. With women, they will usually smile a lot and even giggle a couple of times at things that you say. Another dating body language that you should watch out for is the willingness to expose her wrists, palms and the inside of their arms.

Looking straight in the eye

Though not all people have the courage to exhibit this particular dating body language, it is nevertheless effective. People who look at you straight in the eye during conversations are found to be more attractive and more approachable. They are also considered to be more honest. People who make the effort to look at you in the eye are genuinely interested in you and in what you are saying. Otherwise they wouldn’t waste much time. One should remember though that this is not true for all kinds of people. Some people actually become shyer when talking to a person they really like. Their dating body language become more closeted and nervous. They would refuse to look directly at the eye and may bow down their heads all the time. Know the difference.

Sitting with arms crossed

This dating body language spells “don’t come closer” in big bold silent letters. A very protective stance, crossing the arms shows a need for people to back away because there is a problem with trust. This is one body language that tells you that you just made the worst impression on someone. Some people who are not into relationships unconsciously adopt this dating body language to show that they are not interested.

Batting their eyelash

This dating body language and flirting style may seem a bit archaic to you, having been there during the time of Scarlett O’ Hara but it sure is effective with the men. Only the women, however, can get away with this particular brand of dating body language. Men who try to bat their eyelash would probably appear as if they have a tic in their eyes and might need a psychiatrist.

The First Linguistics Challenge in the History of Mankind

Tags: , , , ,

This is a new series (1-30) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 30 in the Old Testament says: And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Verse No. 30 in the New Testament says: They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

Verse No. 30 in the Noble Quran says: and if ye are in doubt concerning that which we reveal unto our servant (Muhammad), then produce a Surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful.

————————

The verse No. 30 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:30

In the article 29, Genesis 1:29 says: Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;

Consequently, the Bible determines man’s food; it is every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it.

In the verse Genesis 1:29, Herbs and fruits must be man’s food, including corn, and all the products of the earth; it seems likely that the Bible is in favor of the vegetarians.

Furthermore, Genesis 1:30 determines also the food of all the animals and all the birds, the verse says:

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

This indicates that the food of all the beasts of the earth, all the birds of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life are the green plants.

It is clear then that the green plants are the food of all the animals and all the birds.

Because birds have a high temperature and use lots of energy, they need to eat a lot of food, compared with their weight.

Birds eat different foods. Some birds eat green plants. Other birds eat fish, insects, small reptiles and mice. Birds of prey eat mammals and other birds. Some birds are scavengers and eat the bodies of creatures that have died.

But the Bible in Genesis 1:30 determines the food of the birds, that is “every green plant”.

As for the beasts, every kid knows what they eat.

But the Bible too decides that the food of ALL the beasts is “every green plant”.

However, and to be honest, in Ezekiel 39:17 God will have birds and beasts eat human flesh and drink human blood…

The verse No. 30 in the New Testament is Matthew 2:5

The verse No. 29 in the New Testament is Matthew 2:4

In the articles 26-29, Matthew 2:1-4 say:

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying: Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.

In this article, Matthew 2:5 says:

They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

This is the second prophet who is unidentified and not mentioned by name; Matthew 2:5 mentions without his name. The first prophet is found in Matthew 1:22

————————

Verse No. 30 in the Noble Quran is 2:23,

Chapter 2 is Surah AL-BAQARA (THE COW),

Verses 2:1-5 are talking about the believers. (articles 8-12)

Verses 2:6-7 are talking about the disbelievers. (articles 13-14)

Verses 2:8-20 are talking about the hypocrites. (articles 15-27)

The address of verses 2:21-24 is general to mankind.

In articles 28, verse 2:21 says:

O mankind! worship your guardian-lord, who created you and those who came before you, that you may have the chance to learn righteousness(so that you will be cautious)

In articles 29, verse 2:22 says:

Who (Allah) made the earth a resting place for you and the heaven a canopy and (who) sends down rain from the cloud then brings forth with it subsistence for you of the fruits; therefore do not set up rivals to Allah while you know.

In this article, Verse 2:23 says:

and if ye are in doubt concerning that which we reveal unto our servant (Muhammad), then produce a Surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful.

The meaning of verse 2:23:

And if you are in doubt, in uncertainty, concerning what Allah has revealed through the Archangel Gabriel unto His servant, Muhammad, whom you accuse of fabrication of the Quran, that it is from Allah, then bring a Surah like it, then produce a Surah like it in its eloquence, fine arrangement and its bestowal of knowledge of the Unseen.

And call your witnesses, seek help from those other gods that you worship, it is said that this refers to their leaders that they follow, besides Allah, that is, other than Him, so that it can be seen, if you are truthful, in your claim that Muhammad speaks it from himself, that Muhammad invents the Quran.  So do this, for you are also fluent speakers of Arabic like him. When they could not do this, Allah said… (See next article).

A Surah of the Quran is a chapter (a passage) with a beginning and end made up of a minimum of three verses)

It is fruitful to know that Chapter 108, Surah AL-KAUTHER (ABUNDANCE) is composed only of 10 Arabic words.

It follows that Allah challenges mankind by producing 10 Arabic words like it (like the Quran) in its eloquence, fine understanding and its assignment of knowledge of the Unseen.

As far as I know, this is the First Linguistics Challenge in the History of Mankind.  No author (s) in the history of mankind has the courage to generate a challenge like that. Thousands of scholars came from the Western countries to the East, they have studied thoroughly the Arabic language, some of them wrote books and encyclopedias in Arabic. However, none of them tried to produce 10 Arabic words to beat this unbeaten challenge.  Also, they did not tell the people in the West about this unbeaten challenge.  Have you ever heard about it?

Tags: , , , , , , ,

Learning the Arabic language and etiquettes of the people of Arabian countries can be the key to success for those who wish to expand their business to the Middle East. English to Arabic translation is one venue for arriving successfully.

The booming economy of the Middle East is attracting businesses from all over the world. More and more people, with most of them from English-speaking countries, are willing to expand their existing businesses to this part of the world. However, a common problem faced by all is that they aren’t comfortable with the language spoken and written there. It’s not a straightforward task to learn Arabic, as it takes a lot of time. Therefore, you need to hire a reliable English to Arabic translation services provider to be able to register success while doing business in Arabic-speaking nations.

What are the advantages of hiring an English to Arabic translation services provider? Well, the biggest advantage here is that you can trust them, as these language firms hire people from native countries who are also well versed in English. Moreover, these firms might also include professionals who have a good understanding of a particular area of business and how to localize it. These professionals will not only provide you with translated material – they will also ensure that the material is relevant, understandable and culturally appropriate.

Translation allows you to reach out to your potential customers, as the people of the country easily understand the message. Also, the message is conveyed in a manner that is apt and appropriate for the culturally stringent Arabians, a factor that cannot be over estimated. For instance, the tone of voice, facial cues, use of silence and body language hold a significant place in the Arabian culture. Thus, seeking the help of English to Arabic and Arabic to English translation services providers can really save you from getting in to some legal problems that may arise due to the slightest culturally inept representation of information.

Preventing loss is no less than earning profit, and choosing the correct translation services provider can not be over emphasized. Translation companies can be very important in terms of expanding and keeping your business profitable. In terms of localization, they can show you how to culturally adapt your business in order to become even more profitable. In a perfect scenario, you get to know about each and every regional factor that might influence your business.

For establishing a good rapport and making your business a grand success in culturally sensitive, Arabic-speaking areas (such as the UAE), you must hire a dependable language translation service. If you don’t, the responsibility for success or failure is all yours.

Learning Italian At First

Tags: , ,

The Italian language can be easy for some and yet still appear difficult for most of the people who are trying to learn it. Though there are similar and common reasons as to how difficult to learn the Italian language is, there are still ways and means how to solve these problems.

You can get down and serious, crazy or purely insane. It doesn’t matter how you act towards your Italian lessons or how weird your approach of practicing it becomes, what matters is that you have all the concentration and focus needed to accomplish these things.

A few reminders though, when learning Italian, similar to other European Romance languages, it is important that you learn distinctions such as familiar versus formal greetings and gender-based words. There are more to these areas of the Italian grammar which need to be understood very well. But of course, in terms of using the formal way of greeting someone in Italian, it should be highly observed especially when you are meeting a person for the very first time. When you don’t have any relation to a person, respect should be rendered at all times. The last thing you want to do in speaking to Italians is to show rudeness.

So much for formal and familiar greetings. If you happened to learn the German language or any other languages which possess strong accents, spare the Italian language. As for the English language and native English speakers, you will need to learn the sing-song accent of the Italian language. It’s not only evident on the accent, but on the faces and actions of the Italian natives. When speaking in Italian, accompany the words with your facial expression and body language. This makes your stance even more convincing and real in speaking the language.

But, don’t worry. All of these things will come along just fine accordingly. You don’t need to worry whether you are going to do good or not. It’s more important that you learn what is right in a way that is compatible to your learning style.
